The Role 

Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge as a Presales Consultant? This role is an opportunity to join the friendly Presales/Solutions team at iTS, where you will provide high-quality presales support to our Print/Copy/Scan Dealer Channel and Channel Partner Managers across the UK, USA, Europe, and Turkey. Working from our Harrow office or remotely (UK), you will be part of a dynamic team supporting our international growth. 

As a Presales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical presales support throughout the sales cycle. You'll collaborate closely with Channel Partner Managers and engage directly with clients to understand their requirements, present our software solutions, and provide the technical expertise needed to assist in closing deals. 

Job Responsibilities 

  1. Technical Presales Support: Provide remote support (phone, email, helpdesk system) to Channel Partners, addressing technical queries related to our Print/Copy/Scan solutions. 
  2. Project Engagement: Participate in scoping, sizing and planning for technical requirements during the project stage. 
  3. Meetings and Workshops: Attend client meetings and run technical workshops to present our solutions and help partners understand the benefits of our offers. 
  4. Training and Demonstrations: Conduct product training sessions, both internally and for channel partners, including live demos and webinars. 
  5. Documentation and Tenders: Develop and proof-read technical documents, manuals, whitepapers, and assist in tender responses. 
  6. Product Evaluation and Testing: Carry out software testing and competitive analysis to validate our solutions in customer environments and provide key insights to sales teams. 
  7. Collaboration with Installation Team: Liaise with the Installation Planning Team to ensure all customer technical requirements are communicated clearly prior to implementation. 

Required Skills and Experience 

  1. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with print, copy and scan management software, and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Client platforms, Active Directory, and SQL Server. Experience with virtual and cloud server platforms (e.g., Azure) is desirable. 
  2. Communication Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts simply. A high level of spoken and written English is essential. 
  3. Customer-Focused: A proven ability to engage with customers effectively, understand their needs, and provide satisfactory technical solutions. 
  4. Self-Learning & Initiative: Capable of learning new technologies independently and solving complex issues. 
  5. Organizational Skills: Excellent timekeeping, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
